The name, port of registration, and registration number must be clearly displayed on both sides of the Jet Ski. Jet Ski driving is permitted if you are over 18 years old and only if you hold an operator’s license, which is obtained after passing specific exams.
It is prohibited to move Jet Skis more than 700 meters away from the nearest shore and to use them within 100 meters of the clear markers (buoys) in swimming areas, as defined by the Sea Protection Act of 1968, as amended.

During the period from October 1 to April 30, Jet Skis are prohibited from operating from sunset to sunrise. From May 1 to September 30, the use of Jet Skis is allowed between the hours of 10:00 – 13:00 and 16:00 – 19:00, while between 13:00 and 16:00, they are allowed only if moving at a distance greater than 500 meters from the nearest shore, but not beyond 700 meters.
